Selecting the right glass is as important as choosing the right uPVC windows and doors. The appropriate glass type not only improves energy efficiency but also helps reduce energy costs. Factors like insulation needs (climate), soundproofing (environment), and safety requirements influence your glass selection.

Here are the available glass types:

• Float/Annealed Glass: The most commonly used glass, offering standard clarity and strength.

• Tinted Glass: Pigmented to absorb solar radiation, this glass provides thermal insulation and reduces energy costs.

• Reflective Glass: Coated with a metallic layer, it reflects solar radiation, offering better thermal insulation and privacy with minimal outside visibility.

• Tempered/Toughened Glass: Heat-treated for enhanced strength, it shatters into small pieces when broken, ensuring safety.

• Laminated/Shatterproof Glass: Two glass layers bonded with PVB plastic or resin for added strength, preventing shattering and ensuring safety upon breakage.
